I am a Czech photographer working across portraiture, social documentary, and book illustration. My practice is shaped by a sustained interest in people, place, and the quiet narratives of everyday life.

One of my long-term projects, Fotíme bez bariér (“We Photograph Without Barriers”), is especially close to my heart. Through this project, photography becomes a way of connecting with people with mental and multiple disabilities and of showing their world in an honest and human way.

My work was recognised in the Můj svět (“My World”) photography competition, which is associated with the distinguished photographer Jindřich Štreit, who has served as its patron and led its expert jury.

I studied at the Institute of Creative Photography at Silesian University in Opava from 2005 to 2009. My professional experience includes work for the Czech economic daily Hospodářské noviny, including its weekend supplement HN Magazín Víkend. I also photographed the sculptures of Franta Bělský in London for the book Portrétoval anglickou královnu (“He Portrayed the Queen of England”)..
